When and Where
Date & Time
Thu 28th Jan, 20217:30PM to 9:30PM
We’ve established the Improv eJam, which runs every Thursday evening, is free to join and open to everyone.
Part of the reason ImproQuo started was that we felt there wasn’t nearly enough opportunity for people to have a go at improv as a way of performing and having some fun, and before ImproQuo was formed we had actually started up the Manchester Improv Jam.
This weekly improv jam is a free and accessible drop-in session for anyone and everyone who wants to try their hand at improv. It’s a playful and judgement free space where everyone is free to simply have fun.
What to expect:
- A chance to be introduced to the basics and varieties of improv
- A supportive and playful environment
- A space to try new things
- An opportunity to socialise with all kinds of people
You’ll need to join the Jam group on either (or both) Facebook and Meetup. You’ll then be able to get the link to the online session. We put the links behind these groups to make sure it’s geniune people joining the sessions.
The eJam takes place every Thursday, 7.30pm–9.30pm via Zoom; logging in a little before 7.30pm is strongly encouraged and there’s no need to register with us, just show up.
If structure is more your thing, see if we have any comedy courses/classes running sometime soon.
