This course is the third and final term of the short-form improv curriculum. In this curriculum, we’ll be learning improv games, studying comedic principles, and pushing you to be an entertaining performer.
This course will focus on performance skills, structuring a short-form show and developing your own games.
This course is limited to 8 students.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this course, you need to have completed Short-form Term 2 or a similar course elsewhere.
What you’ll be doing in this Course
You’ll be refining your stage presence and awareness, to improve the quality of your performance and the ensembles performance as a whole. You will also look at different ways in which you can structure a short-form show. Finally, some time will be spent looking at how you develop your own improv games.
Showcase Performance
There will be a live performance showcase at the end of this course.
